Our “learn to swim” classes are designed for swimmers age three and up. Swimmers progress through seven different levels learning water safety and proper stroke technique in all four competitive strokes. Group classes are between two and four students per coach (depending on level) and private lessons are also available. Classes are 30 minutes in duration.
Starfish (Level 1)
working on 10 bobs with head submerged and good air exchange
Turtles (Level 2)
working on front and back floats for 5 seconds with no assistance and good body position
Goldfish (Level 3)
working on front and back streamline kickers with no assistance and forward movement and side glide off the wall
Seals (Level 4)
working on good freestyle arms, back kick endurance, side kick and treading water
Dolphins (Level 5)
working on freestyle with side breathing and continued endurance in back kick, side kick, treading water and somersault
Otters (Level 6)
working on freestyle with bilateral side breathing, back stroke, treading water and somersaults
Sharks (Level 7)
working on breast stroke and continued endurance in freestyle and backstroke and somersaults
Our pre-competitive classes are designed for swimmers of all ages who have basic swimming skills or have graduated from our learn to swim program. Swimmers are taught more advanced stroke technique in all four competitive strokes as well as starts, turns and swim team etiquette. Group classes are up to five students and private lessons are also available. Classes are 45 minutes in duration.
Bronze
working on butterfly, open turns, diving and continued endurance in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke
Silver
working on flip turns and distance in all four competitive strokes
Gold
working on backstroke flip turns, distance in all four competitive strokes and individual medley
Our two parent-tot classes are designed for swimmers age six months – three years. Swimmers are taught water adaptation using fun games and songs with the reassurance of a parent in the water with them. The goal is to help young swimmers feel comfortable in water so they can enter our learn to swim classes with confidence. Group classes are up to five swimmers (and parents). Classes are 30 min in duration.

Our adult classes are customized to fit the goals of each swimmer. Whether your goal is become water safe or learn the competitive strokes, we have a class for you. Group classes are up to four students and private lessons are also available. Classes are 30 minutes in duration.
Beginner
working on good air exchange; floating; kicking; intro to freestyle
Intermediate
working on freestyle with side breathing; intro to backstroke
Advanced
working on advanced freestyle, backstroke and learning breaststroke and butterfly
